Research

The Weather and Climate Risks Group's research focusses on matching the supply and demand side of weather and climate information in order to improve the resilience of our societies in the face of volatile weather and climate change. The Group looks at what sort of decision-environment improves the translation of existing knowledge (supply) into application (demand). This joint professorship between ETH and external pageMeteoSwiss enables a stakeholder dialogue to co-design decision support tools in areas such as warnings, planning and strategy.

Within the group there are two main research areas: Domestic and International.
