Alice Mazzoleni

Alice is completing her Master in Computational Science and Engineering with a major in Robotics and Computer Vision. She acquired her Bachelor's degree in Computational Science and Engineering in the same field. However, for her Master's thesis she wanted to have the chance to work in a new field at the end of her academic career and thus joined the Weather and Climate Risks group. For her thesis project, Alice develops a European-scale hail damage model based on OPERA radar data.

In her free time, Alice likes to run and generally enjoys to be active outside in nature, whether it's skiing during the winter season or hiking in the summer. During the weekends she loves to browse through second-hand shops and flea markets with friends. Alice also enjoys crocheting and stitching.
