Mathilde joined the Department for Environmental Systems Science in September 2023 as an external PhD student from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. She is supervised by Prof. Dr. David N. Bresch (ETHZ) and Prof. Dr. Ulf Moslener (Frankfurt School). In her PhD, she investigates the impact of climate hazards on corporate financial performance. Her research takes place in the framework of the safe Financial Big Data Cluster’s sustainable finance workstream and the German Sustainable Finance Research Platform.

Mathilde holds a Master`s degree in Economics and Finance from Sciences Po Strasbourg (France) and a Master’s degree from Environmental Economics at the Université Grenobles Alpes (France). In her free time, she enjoys walking, hiking, cycling, swimming, and running … or occasionally reading a good book with a cup of tea.
